Relaxing

The bed was big and comfor. Food was good. Transfer to the beach on time.

The bathroom was very small and not so much clean. Animacion team in hotel is terrible!!!! Find people who want and know to do that job or just not have animacion is better than this! Cirkus show was great! The pools not so clean sometimes. Drinks in small cup.

I love my room, it was spacious!

I love my room, it was spacious! I love the pool And the view.

I would definitely love if the food was Dominican every day of the week and not that they have an Italian day and a French day and so forth. When I go to Italy I always know I’m going to eat Italian food. I do not travel to Dominican Republic with the expectations of French, Italian, or Mexican food. Also, I didn’t like that the pool close at 7 and we should also have either 24 hour restaurant or food service.

Outside is good.

Outside is good. Nice view to the sea.

I had to argue with front desk to have a room with sea view, as booked! Also they charged me the safe whereas it was included in the room! Staff are not English speaking.

Normal. Not as good as we expected.

Instalations. Pools. Rooms. Fscilities.

Bad services in lobby area. Towels services. AA doesnt work good and nobody when to our room to help us. Not towels paper in badroom. I have to way 15 minuts to receive the paper.

Cannot recommend

Gorgeous grounds - the pools and landscaping are beautiful. Rooms are clean Sunsets are spectacular. One of the front desk women was lovely - I think her name is Issy. Tried always to be helpful Room had a nice balcony Breakfast was good. The chef who cooked the eggs was very friendly and did a great job dealing with special requests from everyone.

We had reserved a room with 2 beds, 4 months prior to our stay. On arrival, we were told that the only room available had only one bed, but they would have one for us the next day. We checked the next day and were met with “We’re full. No rooms”. No apologies. The staff blamed it on Booking and Expedia, stating that the online sites overbook rooms. This is a first. I’ve been using both sites for years, and I know they don’t overbook. On the 3rd day, they had a room,but it was abysmal, so we chose to stay the rest of the week in the room with one bed. The room had many issues: no place to put the toilet paper roll; thin towels; A/C broke the first night. We called the front desk at 9:45 PM and were told someone would be right up. No one came until the following afternoon; ceiling dripped water The food at lunch and dinner in the dining room was not good. Same basic food every day, with a small change for “theme nights”. Food was usually cold, with no way to keep the food warm. The buffet lines were chaotic. There needs to be a better flow. The staff were somewhat friendly. We spent 1 of the 6 nights at Alma, were the food was a bit better. The other night was spent in town. An extra $3/night was required for a room safe. This is ridiculous to charge an additional fee Wine and beer were watered down. Typical in an AI

Nice place bad food

good location nice beaches nice pools it was very clean

The food needs a big upgrade. There are few vegan or vegetarian options and the meat and fish look unappetizing. You really have to step up your kitchen operation. you need better white towels and beach towels also.

What was the highlight of whalabayahibe Hotel

You get what you pay for.

The staff was friendly. The rooms cleaned well. I liked that the hotel was placed on cliffs and not on a sandy beach but you have the option to take a free hotel bus every 30 minutes to the sand beach. The pools were clean.

The restaurant food was ok, but the snack bar serves only junk food. The pool and beach area is not that spacious so at the end of our stay the hotel was full of guests so it's not so quiet at the beach and by the pools but still way better than in Punta Cana.

Beautiful property that exceeded our expectations!

Great facility and very friendly staff. The location on the beach and the pools were amazing. They did a great job with entertainment. I would definitely come back and stay. It exceeded my expectations.

The dinner selection was pretty limited. It’s defintely the area to improve.

It was a really spacy room, great location, safe stay, lovely food, aqua blue swimming pools :)

Our room had no balcony, so the room was a bit damp with a specific smell. We had nowhere to dry our clothes after beach.

The view from the pool is amazing.

Waited an hour to check in. 500 pesos towel deposit. The safe cost 3 US dollars and you as the guest dont manage the safe security does? The food was verry poor cold and salty not alot of opctions for an all inclusive. No activities at all for the children. Horrible stay.....
